How AYSO PLAY! Works

WHO WE ARE

AYSO PLAY! is the American Youth Soccer Organization’s national community outreach initiative, designed to grow the game by widening access to safe, affordable, soccer programs. We use the power of the world’s game to educate the whole child. For over 60 years, AYSO has been known as the “introduction to soccer program” for families, and through AYSO PLAY! we intend to drive our organization’s vision, mission, and philosophies into new communities where children need us most.

WHAT WE DO

AYSO PLAY! works collaboratively with wider community partners to reach more youth, year-round, through our programs, staff, and resources. We work hard to reach families that do not have the opportunity, access, or services to play. We believe soccer is where the ball is, and that we have a responsibility to ensure anyone who wants to play, can play.

PLAY! NOW

PLAY! NOW offers community groups with a best-in-class “pop-up” experience, designed to meet your specific soccer needs for single-day events. Whether you are looking for soccer activation as part of an event day or to kick off your new season, our solution to accessible soccer empowers anyone to PLAY! NOW. First-time AYSO partners may be eligible to offer a PLAY NOW! at no cost to participants.

PLAY! +

PLAY! + offers enrichment programs, delivered before, during or after school. PLAY! + follows an outcome-based curriculum, placing a strong emphasis on social and emotional learning, and fundamental motor skills, ensuring a comprehensive journey that’s age-appropriate for your child’s learning. Our class-based model can be modified between 4-10 weeks in length to fit your location and needs.

PLAY! SCHOOLS

Use the power of the world’s game to inspire students to learn through play. AYSO PLAY! Schools partner with school districts, private schools, and early education centers across the country. We encourage success in soccer through our outcome-based curriculum, focused on interdisciplinary learning, combining soccer concepts with age-appropriate FMS, STEM, and SEL learning experiences.

PLAY! CAMPS

AYSO PLAY! Camps offer opportunities to PLAY! soccer during non-school days. Campers will participate in daily small group sessions, allowing personalized guidance through soccer skills and challenges. Each day is themed, focusing on technical, physical, social, and emotional learning concepts for a holistic soccer experience. AYSO PLAY! Curriculum & Age-Appropriate Training
